Mama Kat's 4th prompt this week was:
4.) Write a list of ten things on your mind this week.
So here it goes!
10. I wonder if one day soon, Tres will hyperventaliate while saying "Elmo, Elmo, Elmo, Elmo,....." when she wants one of us to play sesamestreet.org for her.
9. Will this house ever be absolutely clean? I mean no toys on the floor, no dust on the ceiling fan blades, no dirty dishes anywhere, no nasty sippy cups hidden under the bed?
8. Why in the world would a person leave 3 wiener dogs out in 15 degree weather???
7. I really don't want to go to Give Kids a Smile Day tomorrow... it's way to hectic even though it a good thing for the kids...
6. Tired....so tired....need long 5 hour nap...
5. I'm glad that I'm not a teacher. Especially an elementary teacher. The kids would seriously get on my nerves but I would be too nice to get on to them...which would make me highly ineffective.
4. It's about time I start a Master's degree. It's free for goodness sakes so why not? But, how can I possibly fit one more thing into my schedule.
3. The cat really needs to go to the vet. He has a huge cavity in a tooth and his gum is swollen. But, there is no money for that right now....and I feel bad that I'm not making it a priority.
2. When is Tres going to start sleeping through the night? We let her start falling asleep in our bed as a comfort replacement for her bottle, oh....about a year ago! And now, she falls asleep in our bed, we put her in her crib, then she wakes up in the middle of the night and comes back in with us. Her sleeping though would really help my tired situation.
1. I think I will make Tres Leche cake this weekend. I had it at a conference in Florida last year and it was amazing. Hopefully I can do it justice. I have all the ingredients and just need time to make it!
Yep - that is about as deep as it gets this week. It's been a LONG week.
